The 2023 election in Nigeria was met with colossal voter apathy. There have been countless reports of people who were unable to vote. This is partly associated with long queues, delays in polls, and malfunctioning electronic devices for elections among others. In the age of technological advancement and increased use of smartphones, liquid democracy helps in making collective decisions using technology. Is it time to explore blockchain voting to promote good governance and election integrity in Africa?
