Publications
- - - This study investigates the unexpected repercussions of Ghana’s Free Senior High School (FSHS) program on household poverty, with a particular emphasis on household savings. Structured interviews were used to obtain primary data from a purposive sample of 130 parents and 8 schools, including both private and public institutions. This paper will be presented at the Free SHS Policy Dialogue in Accra – Ghana.

YAFO Institute is Winner of the 2024 Think Tank Shark Tank

YAFO Institute, an independent public policy research organisation—or think tank—has won the prestigious 2024 Think Tank Shark Tank Competition in Tanzania. The think tank’s core aim is to promote libertarian ideas and free enterprise research through public policy debate and advocacy for a free and prosperous society in Ghana. It beat competition from other equally globally known think tanks to emerge as the winners. Read more
