Undivided Us: Reasserting the Independence of the Electoral Commission Towards a Free and Fair Election in Ghana

Ghana is at a crossroads. As we approach the next presidential election, whispers of skepticism and disenfranchisement threaten to tear our country apart. A light, however, ignites among the darkness. Join us for Undivided Us, a powerful event reaffirming the critical importance of an independent Electoral Commission in protecting our democracy from political party grip and ensuring a future of free and fair elections.

Undivided Us brings together citizens from all walks of life who share a single goal: to recapture our nation’s spirit through openness, accountability, and steadfast devotion to the ideals established in the 1992 constitution of Ghana.

Undivided Us is about more than just reclaiming the past; it’s about creating a better future. We foresee a Ghana where every vote counts, the ballot box is a light of hope, and the people’s will reign supreme. Join the virtual peace dialogue of the YAFO Institute as we take the first step on this journey, united in our commitment to make institutions of the state, such as the Electoral Commission, work as enshrined in the constitution and secure a future in which no single political party decides the fate of our nation, but the Ghanaian people.
