This study investigates the unexpected repercussions of Ghana’s Free Senior High School (FSHS) program on household poverty, with a particular emphasis on household savings. Structured interviews were used to obtain primary data from a purposive sample of 130 parents and 8 schools, including both private and public institutions. This paper will be presented at the Free SHS Policy Dialogue in Accra – Ghana.

Prior to joining Yafo, Cornelius works as a Property Consultant and Administrative Assistant at Hawkrad Properties.
Cornelius holds a BSc in Actuarial Science received from the University of Energy and Natural Resources.
