Call for Applications: Liberty Sphere Policy Ground Training 2026

Applications are now open for the Liberty Sphere Policy Ground Training. This is a two-day residential training designed to equip selected participants with the theoretical foundations and practical skills essential for effectively advocating for change, influencing policy reforms and empowering individuals. The training focuses on educating participants on fundamental tenets of liberty, free markets, property rights, fundraising, entrepreneurship, investigative journalism, understanding welfarism, and public policy fundamentals, to cultivate a robust community of young advocates who can articulate ideas to break illiberalism for a free and prosperous society in Ghana. 

Who Can Apply

The Liberty Sphere Policy Ground Training 2026 welcomes applications from:

  • University students
  • Journalists and media professionals
  • Civil society activists
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Policy advocates and community leaders

Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in articulating free-market solutions to social and economic challenges in Ghana.

The Liberty Sphere Policy Ground Training 2026

The residential training covers feeding and will be hosted at Anagkazo Campus, Aburi – Ghana between 23rd – 25th September 2026. Selected applicants will automatically participate in the Liberty Sphere Conference. The training ends with the Battlegrounds Policy Pitch which allows participants to apply lessons to solve real-world challenges in a pitch competition where winners stand a chance to win up to GHS10,000 in cash prize. There will be a tour with our International Speakers to cultural and historic sites on 26th September 2026 as the climax of the training. 

Scholarship and Participation Options

The Liberty Sphere provides limited funding opportunities for successful applicants. Due to limited availability, scholarships are highly competitive and awarded on merit. Additionally, applications can use the code [LSYI26] for 20% early discount for applications submitted before 6th March 2026

  • Fully Funded Scholarship: Covers full training costs. (Limited slots available)
  • Partially Funded Scholarship: Covers 50% of entire training cost, code [LSYI26] for 20% early bird discount applies. (Limited slots available)
  • Self-Funded Participation: Participants cover full cost of GHS2,000, code [LSYI26] for 20% early bird discount applies.
