As Africa accelerates its digital transformation, women must not only participate in technological advancement but also actively shape its future. From cybersecurity and Internet governance to digital rights, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, women have a vital role to play in building secure, inclusive, trusted, and resilient digital ecosystems.
This special conference session brings together distinguished leaders from technology, policy, academia, and civil society to explore the opportunities, challenges, and policy implications surrounding women’s participation in technology and cybersecurity. ThroLugh an inspiring keynote address and an engaging panel discussion, participants will gain practical insights into digital leadership while exploring how women can drive innovation, influence policy, and strengthen Africa’s digital economy.
